Former Deputy Director of Crown Operations - Toronto Region
Ms. Morgan graduated from University of Ottawa Law School in 1982 then articled for Greenspan, Moldaver, Rosenberg 1982-83.
Ann was called to the Bar in 1984
Ms. Morgan joined the Downtown Crown Attorney's office in 1986. Her areas of specialty include wiretap applications, search warrants and homicide prosecutions.
She was counsel to the Regional Director of Toronto in 1995.
She was Counsel/Executive Assistant to the Assistant Deputy Minister in 1996 and then returned to administrative/trial practice in 1997
She joined the faculty for Trial Advocacy course at University of Toronto Law School in 2001 and has taught there for 15 years.
She is a co-Director of the Ontario Crown Attorney’s Association Summer School Wiretap Course since 2001.
She was appointed Deputy Director for the Case Management Team in the Downtown Crown's office 2003-2009
She became the Superior Court Lead for Downtown Toronto until she was appointed Deputy Director of Crown Operations in Toronto in April 2011. She is currently a Board Member at the Advocates Society since June 2015.
