Profile:
David Tupper is a partner in and head of, the Litigation Group of the Calgary office of Blakes. He has a wide ranging practice that includes commercial, construction, securities, energy litigation, class actions and insurance law. He is recognized as a leading lawyer in litigation generally and in areas within litigation by a number of legal ranking directories and has twice received the Benchmark litigation award as Alberta Litigator of the Year.

He has appeared before all levels of courts in Alberta, in applications, trials and appeals, and has appeared in the Federal Court and the Federal Court of Appeal. He has acted in a number of class actions in Alberta as defence counsel. Much of his time is also spent in domestic and international arbitration.

He has published numerous articles and spoken at dozens of conferences and seminars.
