Alexandra S. Clark

Alexandra Clark is currently Counsel with the Ministry of the Attorney General, Crown Law Office – Civil. Prior to joining the Ministry she was the Director, Enforcement Litigation for the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada. From 2003 to 2013 she was Senior Litigation Counsel with the Enforcement Branch of the Ontario Securities Commission and from 1998 to 2003 she practiced civil litigation with Torys LLP in Toronto.
She holds a B.A. from McGill University, an M.Sc. from Oxford University and an LL.B. from the University of Toronto. In 1997, Alexandra was awarded a Harold G. Fox advocacy scholarship and spent the 1998-1999 court year working in London, U.K. She was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1998.
She is currently a member of the Executive Committee of the Regulatory and Administrative Law Practice Group at the Advocates’ Society. She is the Co-Founder and former Co-Chair of the Prosecutors’ Network Practice Group. She is a frequent speaker and panelist on administrative law, evidence law and advocacy-related topics.
