Sonia Bjorkquist is a partner in the Litigation Department. She practises corporate-commercial litigation and has extensive advocacy experience in individual and class actions, appeals and arbitration.
Sonia litigates business-critical issues arising from corporate transactions, corporate governance and oppression, the economic torts, banking, and executive dismissal. She has defended complex product liability cases in the manufacturing, technology, food and pharmaceutical sectors, including allegations of negligent design and failure to warn. Sonia advises public and private sector organizations on privacy and access to information obligations.
Prior to joining Osler, Sonia clerked for the Justices of the Court of Appeal for Ontario.
