Finding ways to connect with others is more important than ever. The Alberta Big Mingle is a fantastic opportunity for law students, articling students, and junior lawyers to connect with one another and meet members of our advocacy community.
How does it work? There will be three rounds of breakout group discussions. In the first two rounds, you will choose the themed room of your choice, connecting with a diverse group of lawyers who will share their advice and answer your questions. In the third round, mingle with fellow students and junior lawyers in a casual setting. Through these discussions, you will be able to network while gathering insight and guidance, and ultimately beginning to build your advocacy network.
Themes Include:
- Private Practice
- In-House / Regulatory / Government
- Tips for Job Hunting and Recruitment
- Articling Tips and Tricks
- Business Development / Promotion
- NCA Students
This complimentary event is hosted by the Young Advocates' Standing Committee and is exclusively for Articling & Summer Students, NCA Candidates, Judicial Law Clerks, and Junior Lawyers.
All student attendees will receive a complimentary Student Membership to The Advocates' Society.
*Due to current concerns with COVID-19, this program will be broadcast online only.
