The Advocates' Society's mission includes promoting a fair and accessible system of justice in Canada, as well as advancing diversity, inclusion, and reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples in the justice system.

In furtherance of our mission, The Advocates' Society strives to provide meaningful opportunities for our members to give back to their communities, including by donating pro bono services to those in need and volunteering for initiatives that improve access to justice for Canadians. There is a long tradition in our profession of providing free legal services to people who cannot afford them, and The Advocates’ Society is proud to uphold that tradition.

The Advocates' Society has partnered with non-profit organizations across Canada to offer our members volunteer opportunities that make a big impact on access to justice.
