To qualify for Regular membership, an individual must be a practicing lawyer in good standing of a Law Society in a Province or Territory of Canada who has been called to the Bar for at least five years prior to admission to membership and whose principal occupation, representing a substantial portion of the total time such individual devotes to work, is advocacy in civil disputes, criminal proceedings, public law matters or administrative processes. Only Regular Members are entitled to receive notice of, attend or vote at meetings of the members of the Corporation. Regular memberships range from $155.00 to $485.00, depending on location and area of practice.
Regular Toronto Member: For those in private practice in Toronto: $485.00 + Tax
Regular Quasi-Judicial Member: For those whose occupation is directed to acting as an arbitrator, a mediator or a member of an administrative tribunal before which advocacy is practiced: $485.00 + Tax
Regular Counsel Member: For those whose occupation is devoted to counsel or policy work in the civil, criminal or administrative justice systems and who demonstrate a keen interest in advocacy consistent with the objectives of the Corporation: $485.00 + Tax
Regular Ontario (Outside Toronto) Member: For those in private practice outside of Toronto but within Ontario: $380.00 + Tax
Regular Government Member: For those in the employ of the Department of Justice, Ministry of the Attorney General or other government departments: $155.00 + Tax
Regular Not-For-Profit Member: For those whose occupation is direct to advocacy in house, including in the employ of a not-for-profit organization, charity, legal clinic, legal association or advocacy group: $215.00 + Tax
Regular Out of Ontario Member: For those in private practice outside of Ontario: $195.00 + Tax
Regular Legal Aid: For those whose practice is comprised of at least 75% Legal Aid work: $155.00 + Tax
Regular Retired: $155.00 + Tax
To qualify for Junior membership, an individual must be a lawyer in good standing of a Law Society in a Province or Territory of Canada who has been called to the Bar for less than five years and who expresses the intention of practicing advocacy as his or her principal occupation. Junior memberships range from $155.00 to $355.00, depending on location and area of practice.
Junior Member Toronto: $355.00 + Tax
Junior Member Ontario (Outside Toronto): $315.00 + Tax
Junior Government Member: $155.00 + Tax
Junior Member Outside Ontario: $195.00 + Tax
Junior Not-For-Profit: $215.00 + Tax
Junior Government/Legal Aid Member: $155.00 + Tax

Affiliate Student Member: A student at an accredited law school in Canada or be enrolled in the lawyer licensing process of a Province or Territory of Canada: $25.00 + Tax
