Please note that this program is only open to participants of the October 20, 2021 plenary session of
Construction Law Advocacy.
Participants of the
Construction Law Advocacy plenary session are also eligible to join us for our hands-on skills workshop, which will be held fully remotely. The workshop is your chance to practise and refine your advocacy skills examining experts in construction disputes, all in a supportive environment.
You will be asked to prepare and present a slice of an examination-in-chief and a slice of a cross-examination of an expert witness. You will then get practical, individualized feedback from our trained instructors. You will also learn from your peers as you work through the interactive exercises in small groups.
Please note that the workshop requires advance preparation based on a mock case file, which will be provided to you in advance of the workshop. Please ensure that you set aside enough time to prepare for the workshop, which may take a half-day to prepare for, depending on your level of experience.
Registration includes electronic materials, which will be provided prior to the program. Registration also includes access to the live webcast recording for 30 days from the date of the program.
*Due to current concerns with COVID-19, we will be offering this program fully remotely via webcast only.
