Practice Groups

Where Networking and Learning Come Together

Connect with the bench and bar in your practice area, learn and share insights through our 16 member-only Practice Groups. From receptions to panel discussions, our Practice Groups offer The Advocates' Society (TAS) members the chance to participate in practice-specific forums of dialogue alongside their peers. Read the Practice Groups Terms of Reference.

Want to get more involved? TAS members are invited to apply for leadership positions on any of our 16 Practice Groups. Applications must be submitted by Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at 5:00 pm (ET) using the online application for here.

Upcoming Practice Group Events

PLEASE NOTE: Until it is safe to proceed in person, all of our collegial events or gatherings and education programs will be offered online where possible, or postponed to a later date. We will continue to update you on new formats for existing programs and new programs under development. For a list of all postponed or cancelled programs go here.

We will continue to monitor the situation and will provide further updates, including decisions for future programs, as things evolve.
